AI features and API keys

VisionMixer generates media in place: overlay graphics and stills from text prompts, and sound effects for the soundboard — all inside the Media Studio's Create pane.

Keys

Generation uses your own provider accounts. In Settings → AI:

1. Pick your text and image providers and models.
2. Paste the matching API keys. Keys are stored in the macOS Keychain, never in preferences or files.

Sound-effect generation uses ElevenLabs; add that key the same way.

Creating

In the Media Studio, open Create, describe what you want — "a stream-starting-soon card in neon purple", "crowd gasp, short" — and generate. Results land straight in your library, ready to stage, save into scenes, or attach to transitions.

Usage

The Status tab shows an AI usage panel with what you've generated and the tokens spent, so provider bills are never a surprise.

AI is optional — every VisionMixer feature works without any keys configured.
